The comparative efficacy of levamisole and diethlycarbamazine citrate against Distyocaulus viviparus infection in cattle

Comparative controlled trials were undertaken to establish whether resistance to reinfection can develop in cattle following anthelmintic treatment of a primary lungworm infection. Levamisole proved more effective than diethylcarbamazine.
