BVA guidance on avian influenza

THE BVA has drafted guidance for veterinary surgeons who might be asked for advice about avian influenza by poultry clients. The document also provides guidance to help the profession deal with any suspected cases and summarises advice from various sources on protecting workers from the risk of disease. It is available to Association members at www.bva.co.uk.

A hard copy of the guidance can be obtained from Rachel Newton, telephone 020 7636 6541
