Tuesday, February 6, at 10.00, to hear an application for restoration to the Register by Mr Ranes Kumar Sanyal, BVSc&AH, MSc, DTVM, of 38 Cossington Road, Canterbury.
Members are reminded that the hearings are in public and, subject to limitations of space, any person may attend.
Question Time
THE RCVS will host a `Question Time' session in March, in Cambridge. The aim is to provide an opportunity for veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and other members of the practice team to meet in an informal setting and debate topical veterinary issues.
The session will be held on Thursday, March 1, at the Royal Cambridge Hotel. A buffet supper will be available from 18.30, followed by the debate, which will be chaired by the RCVS President, Professor Sheila Crispin. Questions can be submitted either in advance or at the meeting, but it is likely that the topics under discussion will include the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act, the provision of veterinary services in rural areas, veterinary nurse training and future regulation, and the RCVS Professional Development Phase.
All members of the practice team are welcome to attend, but places at the meetings must be reserved. Those who are interested in attending should contact Fiona Clark at the RCVS, telephone 020 7202 0773, e-mail: f.clark{at}rcvs.org.uk. Further information is available on the RCVS's website, www.rcvs.org.uk
