The Veterinary Record Online SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:

Institutional Subscriptions

For the most part, an Institutional Online Subscription authorises use at a localised site. A 'site' is an organisational unit, and may be academic or non-academic. For organisations located in more than one city, each city office is considered a different site. For organisations within the same city that are administered independently, each office is considered a different site.

For example, each campus in the State University of New York system is considered a different site, and each branch or office of UpJohn Laboratories is considered a different site.

Individuals who are not BVA members may purchase an individual (non-member) subscription level, or may want to consider applying for BVA membership.

Ordering Procedure

For institutions, subscribing to The Veterinary Record and/or In Practice online is a 2 step process:

First, you must follow your usual ordering procedures to subscribe to the paper version of The Veterinary Record, ISSN 0042-4900, or In Practice, ISSN 0263-841X, which also provides access to the online version of the journal(s). Second, once Ten Alps Subscriber Services has received payment, you will receive a letter with instructions for obtaining access to the World Wide Web edition; the letter will direct you to an online form. You will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate your subscription to The Veterinary Record and/or In Practice online:

Institution's IP Address(es)

Contact name, title, phone, fax, and email

Customer number (included with the letter)

We will send you the address of this web form and instructions for filling it out after we verify payment. Your institution will not have full access to The Veterinary Record and/or In Practice online until you complete this second step.
